Why do snook seem to love the color purple?

I think snook may love or at least seem to love the color purple because of a close resemblance to a spotted seatrout! Ever look closely at the top of a seatrout? Look at how purple-blueish it looks! I think snook eat spotted seatrout as well as BIG seatrout eat little seatrout because they are cannibalistic predators! Snook are ambush predators and will feed on whatever baitfish or forage they can easily get! I do think snook love to eat spotted seatrout and are attracted to the color purple as well as size, color, flash, and vibration!

This Speckled Trout Magic Saltwater lure from Strike King has a silver underspin which creates flash as well as vibration and is sure to be a snook catcher as well as a great lure for spotted seatrout! KT
